So, as suggested in the video below, we've been asked to come up with ways to save the government money. One of the best ones I heard today in a meeting was to hire out the HM Treasury courtyard (above) for weddings. Brilliant!

G20 protests

While this is daylight robbery, the performance was poor throughout. For once, Germany deserved to beat us.

So, the world cup as kind of dampened the usual Wimbledon hype you get around this kind of year (which is fine by me, as normally all the fair-weather tennis players come out and steal the local courts), but I'm still pretty excited about the coverage. There are some great shots coming from the Wimbledon facebook fan page.

It's quite funny looking at the junior ministers' facial expressions. Obviously a communications director has said, "this is a serious budget with difficult decisions...we need serious ministers with difficult expressions"...

Took this picture on the Southbank a few days ago. Just got that great orange light at sunset and tried to catch it on my iphone. Although, just as I took it some fat bastard said loudly "I know, lets just take a photo with loads of cranes"...twat.
